Here we go again...
I believe this is one of the "Super Scoopers" we rent from Canada every year. I saw 3.
I'm assuming the helicopters are ours, but I don't know.
I was so mad at myself for not noticing this helicopter sooner, it basically flew right over me.
And a random truck I was behind at a red light. I post because he's so full of win. I was tempted to follow him because I have no doubt he was on his way to Wal-Mart and I could post this pic on http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/.

hand tortilla chip with salsa on it to the 3 year old and another to the almost-5-year-old.
one little bit of salsa drips off each chip.
they freeze, holding the chip up while they look at what fell. meanwhile, the rest of the salsa slides off the chip.

[Cut to Decepticons]
Soundwave: "We have discovered a new super-powerful energy source."
Megatron: "At last, we can defeat the Autobots and I can rule the universe!"
[Cut to random bunch 'o humans]
"Oh no! Decepticons!"
"Call the Autobots!"
Megatron: "The Autobots?! HAHA...they are powerless! They cannot stand up to our might!"
Optimus Prime: "Stick it in neutral, Megatron!"
Megatron: "Optimus Prime?!"
[Something random happens and Optimus manages to take down Megatron]
Starscream: "Megatron has fallen! Now I am leader! Follow me!"
Megatron: "You fool! I mysteriously got enough power to smack you down and lead this retreat myself!"
Starscream: "Megatron! No! Have mercy!"
[Autobots and humans have a good laugh at the sight of retreating decepticons]

So I was at In 'n Out this evening picking up dinner for the family. As I'm waiting for my order to come up these three late-teenage girls walk in and go up to the counter.
The first orders a burger. The guy behind the counter asks, "Would you like fries and a drink?" She says "Sure, I'll take some fries..." "Anything to drink?" "Oh, sure." "What size?" "Oh, medium..."
The second orders a burger. The guy behind the counter asks, "Would you like fries and a drink?" She says "Sure, I'll take some fries..." "Anything to drink?" "Oh, sure." "What size?" "Oh, medium..."
The third orders a burger. The guy behind the counter asks, "Would you like fries and a drink?" She says "Sure, I'll take some fries..." "Anything to drink?" "Oh, sure." "What size?" "Oh, medium..."
The guy behind the counter showed much more restraint than I would have in similar circumstances. |

Drama.
Charis told me that she wanted to go potty so, of course, I told her to go ahead.
She was in the bathroom a long time, but that's not too unusual, she often fills up the sink & plays with the water or something and doesn't come out for a long while.
Suddenly she starts wailing. Not just crying, wailing. I dropped what I was doing and went in there to find her covered in shampoo. Not baby shampoo, regular. And she was rubbing her eyes. And rinsing her eyes/face just made her wail more. Poor thing.
But, at least she got a bath out of it, which she needed. |

So...
because he's sick, I've been letting Dawson choose what DVDs we watch today. Earlier today Charis really wanted to watch "M.I." (Monsters Incorporated), but he wanted to watch Aladdin then Bambi. So we watched his choices, even though Charis was a bit upset about it.
A little while ago I decided to stick "M.I." in for Charis & me, as Dawson has been sound asleep on the floor and Bonnie went back to bed, but Charis is wide awake. I asked her if she wanted to watch it, she said yes, but Dawson, still asleep on the floor, says "No M.I!"
